Drawing inspiration from the founder’s struggles as a breastfeeding mother, Lansinoh was formed 35 years back to help all breastfeeding mothers and healthcare providers who support them. Today, they serve mothers in more than 60 countries around the world. Their products are designed for moms and backed by research and input from experts.
It is difficult for working moms to keep track of their baby’s routines, such as feeding, pumping, and changing diapers. During the initial research phase, it was also observed that the moms faced many issues, such as sleep deprivation, anxiety, lack of enough knowledge, and postpartum care.
Lansinoh Baby App 2.0 was conceptualized as an integrated interpretation to resolve moms' problems and help them have a hassle-free journey in their motherhood. Lansinoh approached the [x]cube team with the requirement to provide expertise in digital solutions with an intuitive approach.
The initial intent of the application was to simplify a new mom’s journey. Still, considering the amount of tracking involved and the detail of each mom’s needs collated from the research phase, the application's design had to be extremely intuitive.
The [x]cube team devised a plan in collaboration with the Lansinoh team over a design workshop to address each problem statement and translate it into an innate solution or module within the app.
The [x]cube team provided a holistic solution where moms can correlate the number of inputs and outputs on a specific day and set reminders for various sessions, such as pumping, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding, to help them maintain the schedule and produce more milk.
